Three people have been arrested in connection with the distribution of counterfeit $20 bills in the Ponca City area. A 30-year-old woman was arrested Saturday morning at the Sonic restaurant in the 2600 block of North Fourteenth Street. A 34-year-old man was also arrested after the Sonic reported receiving counterfeit $20 bills. Saturday afternoon, police used a search warrant in the 100 block of West Fresno Avenue to arrest a 25-year-old man on several charges, including possession of a forged instrument, exchanging a forged instrument, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of paraphernalia and operating a surveillance camera in the commission of a felony.
